Employee Child Scholarships
Open to students whose parent or legal guardian works at J.D. Irving, Limited, these awards support post-secondary education at any accredited university, college or training institution.
Each scholarship is worth at least $1,000 and recognizes academic achievement, leadership and community contributions.
The program was established to support the educational aspirations of the children of dedicated J.D. Irving, Limited employees. " We have outstanding employees and finding ways to invest in the education of their children continues to be important to us," says Linda Speedy, Vice President of Human Resources. J.D. Irving, Limited.
In 2025 alone, over 200 students were supported across 55 institutions in Canada and the United States.
Scholarship details and timelines are shared directly with JDI employees each year.
