Founded in 1962 at the University of New Brunswick, the Woodsmen Team is a student-run group open to participants from all academic programs.
The team competes in traditional forestry skill events including axe throwing, log decking, chopping, and crosscut sawing. These competitions showcase the precision and heritage of forestry work while building teamwork and experience.
