Woodlands Welcomes Winter Co-Ops

Woodlands operations are proud to welcome 3 co-op students across our operations this term. JDI is proud to partner with universities near and far to help students grow their education and provide them with a hands on learning experience. This semester we're happy to welcome the following students:

  • Bowen Su - Finance Assistance
  • Joel Best - Maintenance & Reliability Assistant
  • Sarah Corriveau - Operations Assistance

"A co-op with JDI is not something to pass up, with so many opportunities and open doors. I’m excited to do my first co-op with the Woodlands Division, and hope to be able to learn the business," says Bowen Su, a University of New Brunswick - Saint John, student on his first co-op with JDI as a Finance Assistant.

“It’s great seeing so many students come in and giving them the opportunity to have a hands on experience and to learn from the business. Co-op programs are a wonderful chance for students to apply their learning in real life situations and they often bring fresh perspectives to the team.  It is also a great opportunity for us to meet the next generation of potential new employees at JDI," says Jeremy Maxwell, Director of Finance for Woodlands.

Bowen, Joel and Sarah are part of the 800+ students JDI welcomes to its operations every year. Growing opportunity for the next generation. JDI will be hiring over 2,500 students in the next 3 years (2018-2020).
