This year the
Irving Nature Park celebrated 25 years, but it wasn't the only milestone
achieved in 2017! Staff at the Irving Nature Park would like to thank visitors
for another great year. 2017 saw nearly 271,000 visitors at the park, the
largest number since opening the gates in 1992.
"The increased popularity of the park due
to the relatively new Children’s Forest and the great guided nature programs
offered by staff combined with a great year for tourism, great weather and the
large variety of public events have pushed our numbers to a record level this
season," says Kelly Honeyman, Parks Manager at J.D. Irving, Limited.
We'd like to thank all visitors who stopped by
this season, and see you when the gates open in May 2018!
